The ledger sits next to the work that created it
Accounts, transactions, expenses and recurring costs in the same system as the projects — so profit per client is a column you read, not a reconciliation you dread.

Inside Velocity Finance
Multiple accounts and currencies
Business accounts, currency setup and per-currency reporting for agencies that bill across borders.
Expenses and categories
Categorised spend with department attribution, approvals and a full audit trail.
Recurring costs
Subscriptions and retainers that post themselves, so the monthly picture is right without anyone remembering.
Bank statement imports
Import a statement, match rows against existing records, and post the remainder in a batch.
Cost attributed to projects
Platform fees, outsourcing and salaries land against the project that caused them.
Reports that file
Ledger postings, tax deposits and departmental cost, in the shape an accountant expects.
A statement import that does the boring half
Upload the statement, and rows that match existing transactions are matched for you. What is left is a short list to categorise rather than a full month to re-key. Batches keep an import auditable long after it is posted.
- Row-level matching against existing records
- Batch history retained for audit
- Rules learned from how you categorised last time

Margin per project, without the spreadsheet
Because finance and delivery share a database, a project already knows its budget, its logged hours, its outsourcing fees and its share of salary cost. The margin column is derived, not maintained.
- Budget, cost and margin on every project
- Departmental cost roll-ups
- Spend groups for reporting across clients or service lines

Better together, fine on their own
Each product stands alone. These share the same records, so adding one needs no integration work.
Questions we get asked
Does this replace our accounting software?
It replaces the operational half — the ledger, expenses, recurring costs and project cost attribution that agencies usually keep in spreadsheets. Talk to us about what your accountant needs to file in your jurisdiction before you retire anything.
Can we import from our bank?
Yes. Statement imports run as auditable batches with row-level matching against transactions you already have.
Can non-finance staff see the numbers?
Only if you let them. Finance has its own view and edit permissions, and project budget sections are permissioned separately from the rest of the project.
